Inside Sales Representative
HJW
Geospatial, Inc. is seeking a proven Inside Sales Representative to
accelerate our growth and firmly establish HJW Geospatial as the market
leader for the mapping services industry.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify new business in
assigned market segment through prospecting, cold-calling, bid
services, networking and generating leads and referrals.
- Continually gather
information on competition in assigned market segment.
- Track mapping services bid
cycles for a variety of government entities.
- Fully utilize
Salesforce.com and other prospecting tools to support account
activities and forecasting.
- Prepares bid and proposals
and assists other team members with bid and proposal preparation.
- Track and follow up on bid
and proposal awards.
- Understand and communicate
information regarding company's products, services and policies to new
and existing clients.
- Assist with creation,
distribution, and follow-up of e-mail blasts and direct mailing
campaigns to drive target audience leads.
- Contact clients after
delivery of products and services to assess client satisfaction.
- Work closely with other
members of the sales and marketing team to ensure efficient handling
of all accounts.
- Attends and participates in
business/trade events and meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of inside sales
experience preferably with emphasis on selling to government
agencies. Experience with GIS,
Mapping or Engineering Services is a plus.
- Proven superior
professional selling, prospecting and account management skills.
- Successful track record
with regards to identifying and qualifying new leads.
- Ability to oversee bid and
proposal preparation process.
- Excellent oral, written and
communication skills and outstanding interpersonal and influencing
skills.
- Must have excellent
computer skills.
